character sketch

i has made a fantastik discovery, but 1st i wil tell u wat is goin on. whilst plannin out my story 4 english literatur i decided 2 make a sort of... profile 4 my character. i looked on the net 4 various templates which wud aid me in creatin a character, i found a basic 1, and a moar detailed 1.

here is the basic 1;

this is a very good starter ground 4 creeatin a character, these are essential details which shud alwais be told in ur story.

now b4 i show u the more detailed 1 i will discuss my discovery. u see, it is much easier 2 write a story based on a character than 2 write a character based on a story. this can b made much easier 2 see if i sho u the second template;

now, if i fill in sum of these;

* Name - Dr. B. Bearnus.
* Age - 56
* Job - biologist
* Ethnicity - african american
* Appearance - he has black hair which is goin grey on the side, he has a distinctive scar on the side of his face, running down his cheek. he is an inch shorter than 6 foot, and often wears a suit and tie.
* Residence - recently moved to a small flat yorkshire.



* Religion - atheist, believe that science disproves religion and is a strong believer in darwins theory of evolution.
* Hobbies - collects stamps
* Single or married? - widower, never re-married.
* Children? - none.
* Temperament - very persistent, hard to distract whilst working. quick to adapt 2 new situations, extremely easy 2 anger.



* Phobias - lutraphobia (fear of otters)
* Faults - addicted 2 cocaine.



* Nervous gestures? - pases up and down. rubs scar on his face.
* Sleep patterns - ever since his wife died his sleep patterns hav becum very random.

now, usin this info, we can easily write a story about this man. taking just a few things from the profile;

Dr. Bearnus' wife was killed by otters, spawning his fear of them. he has recently moved to yorkshire because he believe there is a man there that may know how 2 bring his l8 wife bak 4rm the dead. he works extremely hard with the man, but his addiction 2 cocaine sometimes distracts him.

this is a simple plot, which has becum easy 2 create by first making a character profile. hope u enjoyed and hope this helps u if u wish 2 write a story. try making a chracter just 4 fun, with a quick plot 2 go with it. if u make 1 send it 2 me and i will post it for lols.

anyway, sorry i havent posted in a while i has been hard @ work, and had nothing rly 2 post about. i wil try 2 update more often yet again, as i has a holiday.
